  Really upped its game and has become excellent again. About four or five years ago this was an excellent sushi and hibachi restaurant and then sadly it went downhill - even the miso sauce was suddenly different and not in a good way. We decided to give it a go the other day as we didn't fancy going into town on New Year's Eve and we were really really impressed. Tomoe is our favourite Japanese restaurant but it is in Richmond so to have been so delighted with our local is brilliant! Please don't change again! We even heard another customer saying exactly the same thing. When we asked the very friendly waitress she mentioned the owner had come back or something. Whatever the change in its destiny that has made it authentically Japanese again it is very exciting!

  Lovely people, lovely food. Authentic Sashimi, aromatic sake. Quality doesn't come cheap so fifty quidva head if you do it properly.

  Came for lunch today. What a mess! Whilst the Sushi was ok (nothing special), the service was awful. Slow and got several orders wrong - even with a numbered menu! No wonder empty on Saturday lunch. Won't be going again methinks.
