  So incredibly disappointed with Basmati for awful service delivering a takeaway to us. They waited an hour before deciding that our house was too far to deliver, when we pointed out that they had delivered here several times and that it was nowhere near 4 miles away (less than 2 miles) the story then changed. Apparently now the delivery driver was ill and his car wasn't working. Then then had the absolute cheek to ask us to pay for a taxi to deliver our meal to us. We would have just cancelled the order, but they had already charged our card. We will never use them again and I'd recommend avoiding at all costs if you actually want your food to turn up.

  Basmatti truly is one of our favourites. Our family have had many celebrations there and every time we get first class service and beautiful tasting food.
  
  We have sampled many of the dishes and find them packed with flavour and cooked to perfection.
  
  If you haven't been yet - it's a must!!!!
